The Westin Poinsett, which was established in 1925, is an experience in and of itself. Enjoy a meal at Spoonbread inside the Westin Poinsett, grab a drink in their Lobby Lounge, or get a work out in their fitness studio. Sights

  • Falls Park - There’s a reason our downtown waterfall and suspension bridge have caught the eye of the nation! Falls Park is the perfect spot for an afternoon stroll with a view—with its walking trails, park benches, and the gorgeous suspension bridge overlooking our downtown waterfall, there's so much to do on this side of the city. You can grab some ice cream at Spill the Beans, a local favorite, and take in the many sights that Falls Park has to offer.

  • The Swamp Rabbit Trail - The best part about downtown Greenville is how walkable it is. The Swamp Rabbit Trail just adds another level. Walk, ride, or run the trail as it cuts right through the heart of downtown, leading all the way up to Travelers Rest. Along the way you'll find amazing local businesses including Due South Coffee, the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, Sidewall Pizza Company, Swamp Rabbit Brewery, and Tandem Creperie. You could spend an entire day venturing the path of this iconic paved bike and walking trail!

  • Poinsett Bridge & Campbell’s Covered Bridge - Greenville is full of rich history. If you’re a history buff, you’ll want to check out the Poinsett Bridge, which is included in the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful stone bridge is the oldest surviving bridge in South Carolina. For the modern woman, we'll also add that it’s one of our most Instagrammable spots!  Another historical site to check out is Campbell’s Covered Bridge, which is the only covered bridge remaining in South Carolina. Spanning Beaverdam Creek, this bridge is picturesque and perfect for exploring, rain or shine.

Fun

  • Hampton Station - Enjoy an afternoon of good eats, good drinks, and good hangs. Hampton Station is located right off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and has everything you need to play all day. • Mice on Main Scavenger Hunt - Conjure up your inner child, and find the Mice on Main. This Scavenger Hunt is a great way to see downtown Greenville and have fun too! There are nine bronze mice hidden along Main Street, each with a clue. What started as a high school project inspired by children’s book Goodnight Moon, has turned into a combination of art and entertainment. Stop into our Mast General Store to grab the clues and enjoy this local favorite and see who can find all nine!

  • Greenville Drive or Greenville Triumph Game - Sports lovers, this one's for you.
